    All our charities must have been rigorously assessed and then recommended by Animal Charity Evaluators, who are an independent organization that spends thousands of hours interrogating charities' operations to understand how much good they do with each donation. We also work with expert grant-makers to further refine our recommendations.

  • While diet change is a great way to help animals, the truth is, it’s not the only or even the best way.

    • Diet change can be hard: Many people find changing their diet very difficult. Others face cultural, financial, medical and practical barriers. We want to lower the barrier to entry for people to contribute to solving this global problem, regardless of their diet.

    • Donating is more accessible and scalable: Just $23/month to effective charities can do as much good as going completely vegan. Unlike diet change, there's no upper limit to how much good you can do through donations. Instead of focusing on harming as little as possible, we focus on preventing as much harm as possible — it's both a bigger and easier opportunity.

    • We’re not here to judge anyone: Anyone can be a part of the solution to factory farming. We want to expand the menu of options for how to get involved and celebrate anyone who wants to help, in whatever way works for them. Every.org forwards your donation to charity — they don't charge any fees either.

The only fees deducted from donations are payment processing fees (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, Paypal). Bank transfers and DAF payments always have 0% fees.
